In 1981 R Buckminster Fuller invented a dry-packaging
toilet which did not need any
water or sewer pipes. |

Hermetically sealed plastic packets
would be placed in cardboard boxes. |

The "waste" could then be converted into methane and
fertilizer either on or off site. |
