& vice versa in such a manner that there was minimal distortion of the data. |
His technique works for
polygons whose edges are equal,
such as a
tetrahedron, octahedron, cube, icosahedron, vector equilibrium,
dodecahedron, etc. |

He preferred the icosahedron
because it has the greatest
number of equilateral triangles. |
